- To begin, visit the AppsGeyser appmaker. Select a template that suits your purpose, and carefully follow the instructions provided to create your app.
- If you need to make modifications to your app, including utilizing the backups feature, we recommend purchasing any Premium subscription. Once your account is upgraded to Premium, you'll gain access to both the Edit and Backups sections of the Dashboard.
- Once your app is complete, it's important to test it before distribution. In the Download section of the Dashboard, you have several options. You can scan the QR code with your phone's camera to download the APK file, send the app to your email for later access and download, or directly download the APK file from the page and transfer it to your device.
- You have an opportunity to control AppsGeyser branding in your app. By default, all apps created on the AppsGeyser platform have About screen that provides information about AppsGeyser, including a link to our website, Terms of Service, and Privacy Policy. To disable About screen in your app you would need to have Individual or Master Premium subscription active on your account. To set up your own custom About screen with images, colors, links and text of your choice you would need to have Master Premium subscription active on your account. To make the setup please check White Label and Custom Branding section here.
- When you're ready to distribute and promote your app, the next step is publishing it on Google Play. It's important to note that while other app stores exist, our support is focused on Google Play Store, so if you choose another app store we won't be able to support you in the publishing and monetization process. Before publishing, you'll need to create a Google developer account. Detailed instructions can be found here.
- Once you have a Google Developer account, you have two options for publishing your app on Google Play. You can either purchase Google Play publishing through AppsGeyser professionals (details available at the top of the page here) or publish the app yourself using our step-by-step guide in Go Live section of the Dashboard and the relevant knowledge base article.
- After your app is published on Google Play, you can choose to monetize it using one of the three Ads Network: Appodeal, AdMob, or Appnext. To set it up, please go to Monetize section of the Dashboard and check the instructions in Ad Network Settings section. To be eligible for monetization, your app should be live on Google Play, it should have the correct app-ads.txt setup, and, in case you selected Appodeal Network, it should have at least 500 daily app usages.
- Once you've set up monetization, you can select the level of revenue control. By default, your app will show 50% оf your ads, and 50% of AppsGeyser ads, but there's an option to double your revenue, which means you can exclusively display your own ads. To access this feature, you would need to have Master Premium subscription active on your account. Once you do, you'll be able to select Double Ad revenue option in the Ad Revenue Control section here.
- In addition to ad revenue, you can control interstitial ads frequency. By default, app will show interstitial ads every 60 seconds during a session, but there's an option to change the number of seconds between ad displays. To access this feature, you would need to have Individual or Master Premium subscription active on your account. Once you do, you'll be able to change ads timer in the Set ads timer section here.
- You can provide your users with an option to remove ads for a fee of your choice. The number of users that could do it depends on a number of in-app purchases available in your AppsGeyser Dashboard. By default, you have 1 free in-app purchase, and to get more please check In-app purchases section here. To set up Remove ads product on Play Console please use our instructions.
- If you don't want to monetize your app and you don't want your app to display ads, you have an option to disable it, allowing for an ad-free experience for your app's users. To access this feature, you would need to have Master Premium subscription active on your account. Once you do, you'll be able to select Disable All Ads option in the Ad Revenue Control section here.
- If you want to send your app's users important notices and updates, you can set up push notifications via OneSignal. To access this feature, you would need to have Individual or Master Premium subscription active on your account. Once you do, you'll be able to save OneSignal App ID here. To get OneSignal App ID, please follow our instructions.
- You can track and measure your app’s success by setting up Google Analytics via Firebase. To access this feature, you would need to have Individual or Master Premium subscription active on your account. Once you do, you'll be able to save Google Analytics integration here. To configure all necessary settings on Firebase, please follow our instructions.
- In addition, if your app is based on our Business Website template, you have an option to set up access and splash screens. Access screen feature allows you to monetize your app by selling Membership access for your users. Please follow our instructions to get Product ID, and then save it here along with the preferred settings for your access screen. Splash screen feature allows you to set up any image that would appear while your app is launching. To access this feature, you would need to have any Premium subscription active on your account. Once you do, you'll be able to upload and save image for splash screen here.
