When submitting your app for review on Google Play, it's essential to ensure that the app's content is accessible to the reviewers. If Google can't review your app, you may be prevented from releasing updates, or your app may be removed from Google Play. Reviewers cannot create accounts, use their existing accounts or use free trials to access your app. They are also unable to contact you for more information.
This article will guide you through the process of completing the App Access section based on the specific requirements of your app.
First, navigate to the App Access section of the Developer Console.
- If your app provides unrestricted access to all functionality without any login or authorization requirements, select "All functionality is available without special access." Save changes, then go back to Dashboard.
- If your app is a Business Website app with the Website that requires authorization at the start, select "All or some functionality is restricted," click "Add instructions" and provide detailed instructions on how to gain access to the app, including any test credentials and additional instructions required to access restricted content. Please note that information must be provided in English. Click "Add" and then "Save" after you fill in the form.
- If your app is based on Video Calls and Chat template, select "All or some functionality is restricted," click "Add instructions" and fill in the form with the following information:
Instruction name: Video Calls Authentication
Username and password: See the instructions (in both fields)
